My favorite quotes?! Here ya go:
"If you whip an animal long enough, it turns on you." -Tamora Pierce "Compliments are like clouds, my friend: Very pretty to look ar, but if we had to dine on them, we'd starve" -Brian Jaques "Someday, I must read this scholar Everyone. He seems to have written so much-all of it wrong" -From Emporer Mage, by Tamora Pierce "Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life" -Tolkien "IT takes all sorts of people to make a world, but some could be spared" -my 4th grade teacher "Without stradegy, power is just an empty threat." -surprisingly, I got this from my lil bro. I have no clue as to where he heard it "Life is a sexual disease" -forgot who said that "The man who views the world at 50 the same way he did at 20 wasted 30 years of his life" -Muhammad Ali "Change is inevitable, except from a vending machien" -Anon "Everyone is allowed to be stupid. It's just that some abuse the privlege" -Unknown "A wise man should have money in his head but not in his heart" -Johnathan Swift "Don't walk behind me, I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend" -Al bert Camus And lastly, one that all writters should keep in mind: "Beneath the rule of men entirely great, The pen is mightier than the sword" -Edward Bulwer-Lytton

Good judgment comes from experience, experience comes from bad judgment.
Power over persons is so dangerous a thing that only those who can be trusted with it do not want it.
All paths lead nowhere, so it is important to choose a path that has heart.
i like these quotes. i don't quite remember who said these things; they were in a big book my friend lent to me and i didn't bother to record anything beside the actual quotes.

Whoo... I got a lot of these. I never wrote down the 'quoters' either. Hang on...
"Sometimes we must get hurt in order to grow; we must fail in order to know. Sometimes our vision clears only after our eyes are washed with tears."
"You can close your eyes to things you don't want to see, but you can't close your heart to things you don't want to feel."
"It takes both rain and sunshine to make a rainbow."
"Never let your memories be greater than your dreams."
"Never confuse a single defeat with a final defeat."
"Even the smallest person can change the course of the future." - Galadriel, LOTR Film (No idea if she says it or not in the book!)
"Don't think you are necessarily on the right road because it is a well-beaten path."
"To be a leader, you have to follow your people." - A friend.
"Even the bright and beautiful face of the moon has its dark and lonely nights."
"Sometimes we stare so long at a door that is closing, that we see too late the one that is open."
"The past cannot be changed, but the future is still in your power."
"Few can foresee whither their road will lead them, till they come to its end." - Legolas, LOTR
"We are all the gutters, but some of us are looking at the stars."
"Freedom is not doing what you want, but want what you're doing." - A friend.
"Turning the clock ahead won't help you none." - Me.
"Tears are unspoken words."
"You never know when you're creating a memory."

...Autumn strips the sturdiest tree, but does not make it barren. For, in a new year, must come new leaves. So must the Tree of Life be stripped of leaves that have faced sun and storm, but in their very passing, lies the promise of a glorious rebirth...

Man, I haven't been to this board in a while.
Anyways...
With music, you can have 20 people talking at the same time, and it's not noise, it's a perfect harmony--from Amadeus, this movie about Mozart my flute teacher loves
*points to the quote in her avatar* That's from Mother Teresa.
The reputation of a thousand years can depend on the conduct of one hour. --Japanese proverb
Energy: welcome to the task that makes you go beyond yourself. --forgot who said that, but if you really wanna know, I can look it up for you
You can't see personality from a truck. --my friend
That's all I have on the top of my head right now, I'll post more later.

Well, I have lots of favorite quotes...here's a few...
"One day you'll have to let it go, have to let it go. One day you'll stand up on your own, stand up on your own. remember loosin' hope,Remember feelin' low, Remember all the feelins'..."
"If I don't make it, don't die, I loved you all along."
"I can be anything that you want me to be, a punching bag, a piece of string..."
"Hold your head high, don't look down, I'm by your side, won't back down...you wanted a hero type...well I'm not made of steel...but your secret's safe with me."
"And maybe you should sleep, and maybe you just need, a friend, as clumsy as you've been there's no one laughing , you will be safe with me..."
"All we are, is oh so far, You're falling back to me, least now that I can see, I know you're out there, somewhere out there...You're falling out of reach, defying gravity, I know you're out there, somewhere out there..."
"Life is waiting for you, it's all messed up but we're alive, oh life is waiting for you, it's all messed but we'll survive..."
Well I don't remember who wrote them but I've had them for a really long time...oh well, there you have it.

When you look to the sky, What is it that you see? Do you see your chance to fly?
If I asked you if you could fly, Would you ask me how high? Or just wonder why?
Hold on to your dreams, They will take you far. Farther than it seems...
